Quote:Hey guys, quick question. I know that, when washing squid, the typical texture is smooth and a little slimy. But I rcently came across some that appear to be a bit thick and almost "rubbery" (at least around the tail section). Has anyone felt these kind, and are they safe to eat? Thanks. Previously frozen or non-longfin squid can be rubbery. That said, what part of the squid is the "tail"?
