Newport Ri 2015 Squid Season

Went to Hyannis harbor this morning. Failed terribly. Walked around until I found ink and when I did, I found lots of it. Some of it looked fresh. I knew something was up because I was the only soul in sight until sunrise. Guys came off the boats with buckets of scup and the few of them that walked by me to look in my bucket all said similar things along the lines of "You're kinda late" and "they've been hitting them since the first of May over here" as well as "the whole harbor was on fire"


When I got in to my odorless vehicle i fastened my seatbelt, let out a sigh and thought, "must be nice"


Anywho, France's fleet anyone?

 

 

I have reservation for tonight but they said need a few more people.  Its a good time and weather looks good

for tonight.
