Queenscliff boat harbor PPB
The area where the boat traffic lane opens up to the Queenscliff boat ramp directly behind the abalone factory in the last hours of daylight on a rising tide mainly on calm clear days the runs come in short bursts and dont last long but good numbers can be had at times also excellent for trevaly mullet and salmon
Queenscliff back beach
During the summer you can fish from Queenscliff back beach right of the sand and catch squid, the start of the run out tide is the best, a ten foot surf rod and a jig under a float is what is needed here action stops on low tide but you can get them any time of the day, big leatherjacket and parrot fish thrive in this area along with the occasional salmon
Bells Reef
Situated on the Queenscliff back beach this rock is big enough to fish two or three anglers it can be accessed as the water resides during low tide and is aprox 70 metres from the shore waders will make things a bit more comfortable but once your on the rock theirs a bit of moving room care must be taken as thier are big holes while tranversing to the reef Very very productive for squid and huge travellyand salmon
