We were fishing in between the two piers at Queenscliff one night , 4 handlines one in each corner of the boat , I checked one handline and felt a heavy weight wound it in and their was a huge octopuss on the jig, we decided we didnt want it so we threw it back after ten mintes I checked the lines again and felt a heavey weight on another line it was the bloody octopuss again so again I shook him loose, another ten minutes I checked the lines again and yep you guessed it he came back again, after shaking him loose another five times after that we decided to move, I was getting excited at our new spot because not longer after settling into our new spot I got a nice hefty weight on my line, this squid must weigh a ton I thought as I pulled it up I looked down and yes it was another bloody octopuss

Needless to say that was the only thing we caught that night
