Newport Ri 2015 Squid Season

Gilligan, I am not familiar with fall squid fishing. What month are the squid in for the fall?

I am on the Vinyard in the fall and usually hammer them in October there, but they are in Newport and CT, and on the Cape the same time. People catch them at those locations well into November, sometimes even into early December. I'll try in eastern CT tonight and tomorrow night. Good luck, I hope we get a massive spring run this year!
