Newport Ri 2014 Squid Season

I was at the corner of the rock wall next to the bridge with my wife and 8 year old son last night. It was his first time squid fishing and he had a blast. I was not surprised to see the the 3 boats come right in by the bridge, it is ridiculous, I don't understand how people think...its like thye assume the squid just appear in that one magic spot and then disappear...u can't catch em anywhere else in the ocean...We managed 1/3 a bucket in a couple hours.
