There were actually three boats out there. The two other boats that were 30-50 feet away from the causeway. At one point, the one boat actually drifted so close that I couldn't drop my jig without hitting their boat. I just don't understand, when you can go anywhere in the harbor/bay and catch squid with the boat, why go to one of the only publicly available shore places and fish there? Plus, running a boat is an awful expensive way to avoid paying for parking.
