Newport Ri 2013 Squid Season

I was out tuna fishing until it was too dark to see last night.  Had my underwater lights on and as we were stopped pulling in the gear there were hundreds of squid in the lights.  Made me cry.  Everyone was too tired to even scoop net them.  Had a 3.5 hour cruise in.

 

We were about 50 miles south of point judith at that point, just north of the shipping lanes.
