I will be finding out soon, Ill be in Misawa for 5 months and plan on doing as much fishing as I can. I can tell you that Okinawa and the surrounding Islands have plenty of squid fishing. One of my favorite spots is sunabe seawall in the town of Chatan near Kadena Airbase.
