Just got home from 70, my mother-in-law, my wife, and I got about a total of 7 lbs in roughly 4 hours, although they gave away about 4-5 lbs to my brother and his wife when they had to leave. First hour or two was kinda slow due to the choppy waters, but picked up a bit for about 1 hour. Gets annoying when certain nights I'm the only light source on the pier and some, not all, fellow fishermen use my generator/light without even asking in the beginning or a thanks when they leave, it's the least they can do after I spent $1k on it, guess being polite/courteous is overrated nowadays.

Get used to it man. I bought a generator last year and want to know how many times people have offered to help me with cash for gas after fishing on my lights all night? Zero. The benefit we get is to know that we have the ability to TURN OFF the light, and move it when we dont appreciate the others around. Dont get me wrong, this can be hard to do in a good bite. However, I dont think your unwelcome company likes to fish in the dark. If he did like the dark, he wouldn't be next to you. Anyways, problem should be fixed after a night or two screwing with em. Im very open with people around me. I often give little warnings if it gets too crazy. If that doesn't work, we do have the ability to move somewhere less crowded.
