Just remember if the tide is going out..Start from SW of Carkeek Park and drift..If the tide is comming in go NW of Carkeek Park..The idea is to drift towards the middle of the bay..
Make sure you keep an eye on your depth and the shore as it will be pitch black out there..(Just make sure you don't pull a Titanic with the shore on your boat) and shut off your engine when you drift..
If your at the park and facing north..The spawning ground is about 9 to 11 o clock and about 1/5 mile out from Carkeek Park..at a depth of 40ft+
But don't let this bit of info discourage you from exploring other parts of that bay..
