I also live in Dartmouth and squid/fish off of Pednaram Bridge. My cousin was squiding there last week and caught two bucket fulls of squid between him and a friend. I thought it was a hoax, but I went squiding the next day and a total stranger told me him and his brother also caught two buckets full. Went Saturday night but caught nothing. We'll see what happens. I'm off tonight to give it a try.
Any advice on technique? I am a semi-newbie at squiding. I use a yellow and blue jig with a one ounce weight at the belly.
