[quote name='Mudskipper' post='19703' date='Jun 15 2010, 06:08 PM']I'm a total newb to squidding but have fished as a passion for 40 years.
I have been fishing Redland Bay (Bris) across the past couple of weeks; and the standout jig for capture rate for me has been the GLOW series. I run two rods and a 40 LED light system forced into a white bucket. Whilst I'm fishing one rod, the other is in the bucket and light loading up with glow charge.
I'm not saying this is perfect and the way to go as I am on a steep learning curve, but to date it has yeilded 6-8 biig squid per night that I have been out freezing my extremities off. A couple of 30cm plus bream and a coupla reasonable muddies have been good by products of the nights
