Yeh that's what I did to one of my older cheapie ones. Just ripped the cloth off from tail through to eyes. There is a geen/yellow glow type plastic underneath the cloth on that one (have not a clue what brand it was).

I had six jigs set aside to buy; but as always when I went to pick em up I ended coming away with eight. Mainly Yamashita and a couple of Norry.
