that's how i use to eat it. also dried squid ... which normally should be boiled or fried, i like it chewy <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

is there any risk with eating dried squid (which should normally be cooked) from the package ???
I lived in Cha-Am Thailand for ten months about two years ago. Street vendors sell sun dried squid that they heat on a grill then run through a press to tenderize it a bit. Its squid jerky and it is quite tasty but still a bit chewy. I ate it almost every day, it was a nice snack.
