Was down there last fall. My sister bought a rental property in Salvo and blocked out a couple weeks at the end of the season.
Turns out she is only a 20 miunte drive from the Oregeon Inlet Fishing Center so we hoped on a boat and went offshore. I got my first Blue Marlin that trip.
I don't know about any squid fishing around there but look at this link and possibly call or stop by there and ask them.
