Brighton pier and surrounds - VIC

New member here!!!!

Been squid fishing on and off since I was a kid (im 39 now), used to do a lot of overnighs with my dad at flinders, sleeping in the back of the Valiant safari (what is it with wo*%s and valiants ?) <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> .

Now that I'm married with kids i'm starting to get back into land based fishing catchin anything that tastes good....and I love squid.

Now for the report.

I went to Brighton yesterday, got there about 5 am, was the only one there. Ink stains everywhere and fresh ( looked like a squid feast Fri nite). Another fisho arrived soon and in about 1 hr of fishing we both got 1 each (500-600 g) and lost 1 each. And I lost no jigs....



I even saw a 2 squid on the surface fighting or kissing...

I try to do as much fishing as the misses lets me, she works on weekends ( she started after lunch so I escaped ).
