i was in fishing feve today and they have the gesola jigs.
The yamashita rod is very light indeed. squid rods are made to be very light so you can jig hard and when you hool a squid its light enough not to pull the jig through the squid. The graphite leader rods are about 100g in weight and feel very flimsy but they at 100% carbon fibre so very strong.
On a totally differnet topic does anone use air pressure (barometer) as a guide. I have read differnet artices saying that an increase in pressure makes fish and squid stomachics feel full and not feed as they are very sensitive to pressure changes. Im startign to log the pressure vs my strike rate and will see if there is a trend.
daily pressures can be accessed via BOM
