Squid Bite!

In the UK, later in the year, few people are squidding but lots of people are bassing with a smaller relation of the cod (pouting) as livebait. Far too often, you get a slow pull, and when you reel in, the pouting is dead. Why? Cos the squid has cut away a big "V" in its back, bone, flesh everything, perfectly gone. That beak must have at least the power of a man with a pair of scissors. Avoid!!
