Hi its been along time since I visited this site and I didnt see your responds, concerning your question, no the jiggs would not work tied on one end because when the squid came into the boat they would not fall off unless i took each one off manuelly, that would take a long time, so with them tied to both ends, that way when the jig turns upside down the squid falls off by its self.
