Well? From what I gathered this season..Them Squids (At least the Big ones) are nowhere near Shore as the weather just hasn't been cold enough..They are exactly 1-3 miles from shore just hanging out in there thermocline.
I only say this as I have been massacring them on my boat.. From Mukilteo down to Elliot Bay..Just where ever it is dark and no lights around. Just keep your boat between 80-100ft depth and just turn on your generator with bright lights and drift with engine off. The school will keep following you..
So? I say it is time to stop being lazy and dock jiggin it..Go break out your boats if you got em..
If you don't?..Now is a great time to get a very understanding Friend who has a boat into squid jiggin... GICK GICK GICK!
