Interesting. I'm guessing your used the squid jig? Can I ask what colour(s)? My friend has had some success at Portsea with the natural/brown coloured as as well as pink jigs.
Me, I personally use baited jigs as they tend to nail the bigger ones. I'll be heading down there tomorrow, hopefully a) lights are back on and <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> some hungry squids want a feed
(Has anyone heard of anything from Flinder's Pier?)
