Good mate Pete Ferguson has been having some great success fishing for squid along the Tyabb and Quail bank just outside of the Yaringa channel during the week. Most of these tasty morsels have been taken while casting Yo Zuri “Q-Real” jigs in the black colour with a couple of the bigger squid pushing 2kg. Pete also had success on one of the tougher days by drop shotting a couple of jigs right under the boat as he was casting, so it pays to have a few drop shotting sinkers handy for when times get tough.
