Baited Jig Rigs

Hi Guys,





For depth control of a float I use these "Float Stoppers" available at any tackle shop I reckon. These that I use actually came with the float.



To use, simply thread your main line through the tube then insert the pin when the float is at the required depth. To change depth just slide the stopper up or down the main line to where you want it.



Further to this question, is it better to mount a herring head down (on the hooks) or tail down?
