HI, first i would like to say what a great site for helping people learning how to catch squid and i wish i had this information a few years ago when i caught my first squid.
any way i went fishing last weekend ((21/11/04) in sydney harbour and i went to all of my squid spots ( and the spots on this site do work ) and i didn't get a thing. We spent 1 1/2 hours trying to find some and nothing. We asked a few other boats around that were doing the same thing and they had no luck either. I am interested if any one else was out on that day and if they caught any squid that day.
also i find that pink is by far the best colour and also 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 are the best sizes.
the smaller jigs are better if you want a nice size livey but i find that i catch more squid with the little bit bigger sizes.
so if anyone has caught some squid in sydney harbour recently it would be good to hear.
