hey just curious what is there to fish for in the day time at goat island while im waiting to go night fishing for squid to kill time?
Squid could be caught in the day time and decent bite in the evening too. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol' /> The water is cold so you can try to nab some skates, sea robins or cunners (choggies). Skates and sea robins come in good numbers to feast on squid eggs. Water is getting warmer as the tautog bite is hot! You can catch tautog in Tiverton/Portsmouth which isn't far away from Newport.
