Hi Pete,
The jig you have should be fine, but I think TRONIX will have jigs availalbe on the morning. Have a look at my diary (www.fishyrob.co.uk) for the 10th May 2008 and I think you will find the winner had six squid (theres a joke there somewhere) on a small TRONIX green jig.
We do keep all squid, as from what I have seen they are very fragile and wouldnt handle a return. As for the drop net, to be honest as a marina regular I would advise you should always carry one, but if you dont have one on the day dont worry as plenty of people will. I must admit I dont think I will be fishing so much as landing on the day.
