Yes, I've fished there as well..... never saw or caught any either. My uncle said when he had seen them in, they were in large schools. Next time I talk to him, I'll try to remember to ask when he saw them. Neah Bay as well used to get them in well, but from what I heard, after they did the new marine, they really didn't see them anymore.
It's really not a "HOT" item for any of the local shops "Neah Bay, Sekiu, Port Angeles". I did have a short stay in Sequim bay at the park, I'm thinking it was about May or June, and there were some squid around there.
