[quote name='Bent_Rod' post='13125' date='Nov 21 2008, 01:23 AM']good stuff ben, i went to that bridge last friday, it was low tide so i went down to the rocks and cast a few times, i kept getting snags, the tide was too low, and it was windy so i left.
I am still to catch any squid in la perouse

Hi to all squid fishos, I have been watching the Botany - LaPerouse squid fishing results for a while now, I thought it was about time I joined up, to this excellent site! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I have fished Bare Island several times this month and have had sucess with the green YoZuri squid jigs, using a slow cast and retrieve from the bridge. It also pays to have a second rig set up paternoster style when the tide is up just make sure your drag is set light and your rod secured <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> .
Keep up the good work Glen <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/xyxthumbs.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
