Mate I am loving my squidding great fun thats all I am fishing for . I need to get my kayak out and get some Ink on her as My new spot I could really cover some ground of the Yak . Yep I bough the gladiator rod last month I am getting used to it as it is the lighter one of the Gladiator eggi rods . And I am used to a whippy rod .At first when I would get a touch I would loose the squid as my sloppy rod a daiwa pro caster all a squid has to do is take the jig and the rod would have some give in it but this new rod is a little stiffer but I am now getting used to it I caught the 10 on saturday on it. today I caught the one on it and the other seven on the daiwa Pro caster . I do like the new rod. I might get the next one up which is a little stiffer to be able to cast out some bigger jigs. Have you been getting a few Inkers ?
