these 'ultra bright' low power leds provide very good illumination for the power that they use
if you are looking for an "underwater spotlight" i would concider using
CREE High Power XLamp® XP-G LED, these new leds will pump out heaps of light
but the trade off is that they will use about 3A, which is not that much less than a halogen bulb

these will be the next series of leds that i will play around with
