Squid report 5/6
I was there from 7am to 1:30pm
Small rush of squid around 8am started on the bridge then went to the park. Rush lasted 15 mins
Second rush came at 12:30pm started on the bridge again, then the squid made it's way to the park. The bridge rush lasted about 15mins and the park lasted 10mins.
Almost every person had about 6-12 squids.
With all that time I only managed TWO squids....I must be doing something wrong.
Time I left there was about 25-30 people on bridge and 10 near the park.
imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... just copy the people next to you... check out the jig setup (colors, numbers, etc.) that they're using, how often they're jigging up and down, and you should be on your way.
btw... it is important to use a good reel that doesn't have a kick back... it sucks to snag a big squid and have the reel kick back and the squid falls off your jig...
