[quote name='Snaildarter' post='10983' date='Apr 29 2008, 02:56 AM']Hey twiggy and the rest of you squid freaks, here is an animated knot tying site that has 250 different knots. I'm sending the url for the dropper loop but check out the sliding snood which is an Australian double ajustable hook knot similar to our Boa Rig. It's great for fishing whole squid or fluke bellies when you are targeting doormats. With the 20' regs in RI this year, you'll want to fish big baits. Cheers. Snaildarter

Sweet link! My brother actually took one of my boa rigs last year after I had a HUGE and i mean HUGe doormat snap me off at the boat. He retied it somehow using thicker line than the 20 or 25lb leader they used to come with and even made the locking string piece too. He couldn't figure out how he did it so hopefully that link you posted will show me. Nothing beats losing 10lb plus fluke b/c they bit through your leader <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' /> That fluke was caught on a HUGE whole squid i caught off the bridge last yr.
