There is a lot of squids there. Every time I go there I usually catch 2 to 4 five gal buckets. But right now the pier is close do to over crowding.

You have to remove the trailer and park in the trailer area. For car or truck $1.50 an hour, three hrs max, then you have to pay again.

HERE WE GO AGAIN
With all these hype about the squid in Provincetown.
We went to see if it true, left the house at 4:30 am from Foxboro did not get there til 6:50 am with no traffic .
Fish all over the coast line no squid but then again it not night jigging, I was expecting at least a few squid but NADA .
So I asked my reliable source what the f££££k man I caught nothing after over two hours drive and $180 in fuel and $10 to park .
I was told these squid only come up to the light at night from the deep .
So what ever man .
All I know is, it's crazy deep down there any where from 70 feet to 258 feet none of my line on any reel hit the bottom in some of these places .
It just not a good place for me
and there are no cell service either, make sure you have a ship to shore radio just in case you break down because you probably do not have 258 feet of anchor line to drop, while waiting for help to come
What a season for me with squid
I do well with the fishes though !
Thank God for the fishes or I would give up boating

May be everyone figured you need a spring summer run to get a fall run.
There has been "some" squid caught at various times at cape cod canal.
Other than that it has been very quiet.

Hey Bruce, I think it was you that posted about the fish chix wonder batter.
Have to thank you as I picked some up and tried it, thought it was a great
straight forward batter mix that works great with any fish/squid.

Just picked up another 5lb bag today. Fished out of Pt Judith and it was
slow as the water was still dirty/cloudy out there and that may have affected
the fishing. An awful lot of throwbacks that were only a 1/2 " under the legal
size. Guess I'll have to try again when water clears and settles down.

This is the worst of worst year for squid fishing so far for RI.
I think squid fishing in RI is over. Don't know what's going on, but in my opinion climate change is the key to that god damn squid change behavior.
And I heard somebody clean that god damn squid, in side of marina's restroom at cape.
After that incident, marina office starting to restricting squid or any kind of fishing from that marina.
Sorry for my language, but I feel like to say something for that stupid incident.
