I personally don't snorkel the bay, but would love to. Maybe I could ask for one as my bday is in 15 days! I've snorkeled around the islands of Fiji and loved it!

But if I get a snorkel set, I'd also want a wet suit and perhaps a spear gun or a spear with many prongs/sharp heads. And a snorkel buddy!

My 2c

Cheers,

Sid

Hi dave im new to the Squid Forums , I go spearfishing and Rod fishing around Victoria and i find that the best/nice places to dive are around mornington/sorrento way cause the waters are clear aqua blue

Ive dived at RYE but only near the pier and it was endless hundred metres of just sand lol so nothing to see, i usually go diving nearly up to 10 metres of water, anymore deeper it gets dark and cold and i dont have the right suit for that. Hope that answers your question <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Rickett's Pt is close and pretty, generally see some marine life.. Cerberus/Half Moon Bay around the wreck itself is alright, but gets very crowded in Summer.
