A clear flourocarbon leader will do the job.
Most good tackle jobs will have this gear.

flourocarbon leader as light as you dare to go
i use 6lb for weedy areas and 12lb around rocks
tied with a perfection loop to the jig to give it it's best action

I use Egi leader by sunline , it's a fluorocarbon 100% and it's clear and 8lb.
tie a couple of feet on and tie on a jig and look out squid.
works fine for me.

I also use the sunline Egi Leader. I went to a squid information session last week run by Yamashit and they suggested the leader should be 2 meters in length and they use and "FG Leader Knott" Have a look on youtube its very hard but a thin strong knott.
Cheers,
Kim

I just use an albright knot to tie on the leader and a blood knot to the jig, never had it break yet but I have been bitten off by a big squid that grabbed the jig from the front...bastard...lol
