Mate, honestly, anywhere from Brighton to Portsea has squidding grounds. Find a jetty, breakwall, rocks groins etc, and you will be in for a shot to catch squid. I have caught squid at most, if not all landbased structures on this side of the bay. Just go to any pier and look for squid ink, thats a great sign. But if you want me to be specific, then just go to brighton pier mate! There is a massive thread about it on this site which details the success people have been having.
As for the huge order, what did you get? 100 jigs and a couple of emeralda collosals? lol

Ahhhh the great memories of brighton pier lol.! The time me and my mates were fishing at the break wall there we were just about to pack up. As we were leaving my friend decided to swing the lantern and as his done this the lantern nut has gone loose and in a matter or seconds the lantern was up in flames about 2 meters high. lol instead of my friend running towards out from the break wall he runs back on the break he had to hide down on the rocks we thought this gas bottle was going to blow up like a scene you would see from rambo, i had to call the fire brigade at that time they arrived, they walked right up to it and sprayed it out. I was scared for my life thinking this lantern is going to blow. haha anyhow the list i i will be ordering from plat.co.jp is.

Funny, I've caught squid during the day on glow jigs, and at night on standard jigs as well....
At the moment, anything red seems to work at Beaumaris at night. I have the Yamashita Natural in red, haven't used it much, the Harimitsu's are doing the damage for me at the moment!

it all depends on the water, i use naturals at night when full moon.
you can use whatever jig you like but if you dont know how to use it the way it is ment to be used then dont bother.
i use yama iba (red with dots)
.

without a doubt the best squid jags on the market.
coulor isnt all that important unless the water is real dirty. brown is a good colour,
the reason theese squid jags work so well is because of how they sink and look so natural when reeling them in.
you should try a flouocarbon leader. i love catching squid and i can guarantee every cent you spend on quality jags like theese
will be worth it. i personally find them working best when retrieved very slowly. good luck.

from all reports im hearing they are going to stop making the naturals vey soon and only make the new egi live.
the egi live do some in a natural range but not the same ones.
so buy up guys as they wont be around much longer and im sure the price will be pushed up...
