G'day all, just thought I would post a quick report of my last trip. Headed to a couple of different locations around yorkes and managed a few squid off the Port Hughes jetty and also one from the rocks at Berry Bay.

-Cheers.

Hi All,

New to the site and a mad keen squidder !

Pulled in 13 Saturday off a jetty and it seems the winter squid are here. 7 monster squid (30cm plus) and another 6 good sized squid. Had a ball. They have been a bit quiet the last fortnight I went out, still pulled in 4/5 but really touchy so I thought I would concentrate on tommies for a couple of hours pulled in 35 of them.......fab wont have to buy any for suidding for ages !

Say Hello love to chat about squidding

hi mayatime

the squid we caught at yorks last trip we caught 8 of them on a dodge tide there was only three slow tides that day. it seemed better as its very deep at edithburgh and the current really flows through there so with the slow tide things wernt as murky and there was no weed or anything passing through onto the handlines.

pt huhes is a very very good jetty hey!

i also love moonta bay as a little boy i caught heaps mith my dad there. haven been for ages but im sure ill go there soon again.

Hi Nathan

Yes nothing wrong with a dodge. Caught 8 large ones biggest mantle measured 46cm, he was so big when i started reeling him in i could see his wings coming out the water 50m away. Biggest squid I have ever seen.
