Swan River - Perth WA

Last Friday I had an hour to spare before my bible study so went to Swan river, caught 4 squid including 1 over 700 gm and 1 blue manna crab. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':unsure:' /> <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />



Plenty of squid around reefs in the ocean. Friend of mine caught 20 in one outing a couple of weeks ago.

where did you catch them in the swan river?

Hey all.

went down Tuesday night to the Swan River oposite the red herring resturant casting Yo-Zuri Glows between the boats, did exceptionally well caught 12 all around the 400grm mark and 1 just under a kilo. I was only there 2 hours <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />



on Wensday I went to the south mole were the boat pens are unfortunatley I only managed one but there were plenty of fingerling squids there. <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Good effort exmouth, I've heard a few guys mention catching squid around there. Wanna get under the lights on boat jetties but seem to be locked up most of the time. Does anyone know where there is public access to jetty with lights around here?? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated..
