Squid Light Colours

hi everyone, im about to put 2 led squid lights at the back of my boat, and wanted to know which colour is best. I thought white was the best because u see white squid lights for sale but reading different opinions maybe blue or green is best. They say blue attracts bait fish better than white because it penetrates clear water furthur than white and then green penetrates more in murky water than white. So i have no idea what colour ..... ill be squiding in the port hacking, botany bay and ocean waters so all these places the water is quite clear even on the runout tide. I understand that bait fish are attracted to blue light and green light more so than white light so does that mean the squid will be attracted to the bait fish in the coloured light at the back of the boat?...... so blue or green or white?.........as u can see i am a beginner at squiding and will appreciate it if someone can help me........

I would go for white! White is just a mixture of all the other colours so should work fine! <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Though this is just what I reckon. I never tried the other colours!

I will go for white, importer sells both blue and white and said white hands down unless u just want colour for show. Pro fisherman said white is much better as well. I just got confused because people in the states said blue and green was better in artilcles that Ihad read but apparantly white is the go over here and the ones I found are actually called squid lights and the blue ones he said were mainly if you wanted them for astetics..........

I was wondering if people talk about squiding only on this site or talk or about fishing as well..?

or is there a site where you are a on that you can talk to one and other about different types of fishing say like a chat room for fishing?
