Sussex Inlet, NSW
#1

Hi all,

Im a new member, and this is my first post. I discovered this site accidentally, but stoked I did!

Im heading down to Sussex Inlet for an annual boys fishing weekend, next weekend.

Last year we managed a couple of squid sort of as bycatch, as they were getting into our live baits we had set for kingies.

This year I was thinking of actually targetting some squid down there.

Has anyone got any tips on spots down there? Last year we fishing just outside the entrance to the inlet around the reefs / islands.....I reckon that will be as good a spot as any?

I was also wondering if anyone has got any inside the inlet - was thinking perhaps the weed beds might hold a few?

Cheers for any advice!

Attached is a pic of one of the models we got last year......it was turned into the most sensational calamari within an hour of being caught!

Cheers,

Smacka.
