Knots For Lures - KIONG - 11-05-2010

Hey guys,

got a question. which knot is suitable for tying leader to egi? palomar or rapala knot? I know that rapala knot give the extra allowance for life like movement, but egi aint crankbaits and all, and palomar probably give the extra sensitivity ??

Opinions?

use an Egg clip in size 00, 0 or 1 doesn't effect action or the squid. and you can change lures all day without changing the leader.

Use a double uni knot for braid to leader and from leader to clip. If tying straight to the jig, there's so many knots, but best still has to be uni knot. As for clips, the best after many many many many different types used, its the ones by Breadon. You don't open them at all so they never weaken. Once you check it out, you'll see what I mean. Every and i mean EVERY other clip I've ever tried has lost me a jig or has opened. If its opened or lost a jig once, that's once too many. You wont mind til you lose your favorite jig that isn't made anymore.
