For some reason I'm still catching them during the rain too, and this is in shallow water (1 -10 foot)

Hey mate it's been a while. How's Real Estate comin' along for you?

25cm hood is great size, the biggest I seem to get at mine are just over 20cm hood.

Last night we got there and there was one swimming around in half a foot of water. He took a 1.5 yama within seconds. The cast after that I got a similar sized one and after that we got a few little ones. Left after an hour as I'm not a fan of freezing my nuts off.

went balmoral friday night and sunday night and managed some good size calamari, two big ones between 30-40 cm hood, and one around 25cm and a baby around 10cm on friday night.

Then one nice size one around 28cm on the hood on sunday night.

All off Balmoral =]

LOL Dave you are everywhere.

Nice squid to buddy i never asked before, Do you eat them or they go as livies since you packing a stradic 2500/3000 (looks like) could bring in a king or jew. with that.

Hi mate, I use the heads and guts for bait, the rest hits the frypan <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

It's a sustain 2500, seems to do the trick.
