Where are good places for spearfishing in melbourne? - speary - 01-03-2011
Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me where the good spots for spearfishing are?
I'm using snorkel and hawaiin sling and live on the Mornington Peninsula,
I want to find big fish '40cm+' (is this likely without getting the scuba out/ going deep?)

hi simon i live i dromana and going spearfishing at mt martha and out the sorrento back beach i have got a few big snapper of mt martha and leather jackets
down on sorrento u can get big rock cod abalone lobsters but be carefull as it is bronzys breading grounds i have seena 12 footer out there so best to go with some 1 that no' the place i am more then happy to go out with u and show u some good spots that i have found but with a sling spear u might need to get a gun?well i hope that i have helped any further qs email me at alfa_1@live.com.au
