Vineyard squid - Gilligan - 21-10-2017 Just reporting that the squidding has been excellent in both Edgartown and Menemsha for a few days now, Edgartown has been great for a week. Heard there was some good action in Vineyard Haven too. I'm from nyc. Hope you fill that bucket! cheer! Vineyard squid - Gilligan - 21-10-2017 Doing OK, been getting over a squid a minute sometimes, hardly ever less than a squid a minute for the last week. They are in really good here, the fall run is living up to it's reputation without a doubt. I haven't heard any reports from the canal, or much from Newport, but I figure it must be good all over right now, making up for the lesser spring squidding for sure. Been getting enough for my bass bait, live ones for albie bait, some for friends to eat. Even putting some in the buckets of those not catching so well, it is hard to stop even when you have enough when the action is so hot.
