Hubmoldt squid moving north again? - jumbocalamar - 25-09-2011

Humboldt squid recently stranded in La Jolla and San Clemente. Perhaps they will repeat the northward march of strandings like in 2002-2003. It would be useful to document this phenomenon as part of our ongoing research efforts. Information on numbers, sizes of animals, locations, dates, etc of strandings or encounters by fishermen would be really appreciated.
