Attractant scents - Chippy - 14-06-2013 Hi All,   Just wondering what people use for scents if any for their jigs. Do they work or is it a bit like snake oil? Also, would a drop or two of tuna oil or fish oil work?   Cheers,   Shannon Attractant scents - Dr Zoidberg - 19-08-2013 Shannon   I give my jigs a good splash of Ultrabite ( Saltwater version ).   Does it make any difference ? I truely don't know but I'm of the opinion it makes the jig taste like food so they really grab onto it. I'll take any advantage ( real or imaginary ) I can get when chasing squid.   You could try tuna oil but it will probably stain the cloth of the jig.
