north sydney harbour squid fishing ban! - drift squid - 19-10-2013 warning to all squidders fishing here.   basically its been sectioned off since 1983 as a marine park, and the ruling goes that in this area you may only "fish for fish with fins " so squid fishing is banned.  they never have enforced it before but intend to now.
