Barrel Swivels...a Bad Idea? - Joe A - 19-11-2013
I have small Barrel Swivels made by Spro that are the size of an ant....30# Test......Are they a bad Idea?. Will squid see these and Bite the line?? Or will it spook them?? When I make squid rigs I do so on Flouro Tippet Material as you can get low diameter of 6-8# test.....But Tippet tests out to 12-15#s....No line to line connection seems to do justice. Squid wont break the line but occasionally you snag weed or stray mono, one night I caught an old rag.....an easy way to loose 25 bucks worth of gear,
