<img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' /> At Big W (S.A.) they had these reels made by Banax called vista. They were marked down from forty bucks to five bucks. Being so cheap I thought what the hell I will take five of them.

Has anyone heard or used this brand and if so are the good or crap.

They came with a spare spool and line. They have a smooth action and a two year warranty.(which beats Jarvis Walkers one year <img src='http://www.squidfish.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ink' />: )

Banax have been around for a while, they aren't that common in tackle shops though. They advertise in Aussie fishing mags with a dragon sort of thing as the logo.

I think they are a fair size manufacturer in Asia who might make reels for other brands too. The designs always look "old" though, like reels from the 1980's.

At $5 each I don't think you can go far wrong :-) Good deal.
